The event, which is being put on by the nonprofit and South Carolina Legal Services, will feature legal topics such as wills, health care power of attorney, living wills and power of attorney.
Participants will be able to ask questions, learn what their rights and responsibilities are and understand what legal aid and financial services and resources may be available to those in need. The event is free, but the group is asking for a donation of $5 or more from those who can contribute. All proceeds will go to fund other community events and to support those in need of the group's programs and services.
