MICHAEL A. WHITAKER

Michael Allen Whitaker, 33, died on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at his home.

Born on March 7, 1985, in Manning, he was a son of Michael Anthony Whitaker Sr. and Tammy Patterson Whitaker.

Survivors include his parents of Sumter; a daughter, Peyton Whitaker of Sumter; two brothers, Joey Anthony Whitaker (Alyssa) and Michael Anthony Whitaker Jr. (Leanna), both of Sumter; one sister, Christie Whitaker Epting of Sumter; maternal grandparents, Bryan Fronabarger of Sumter and Helen Patterson of Texas; and four nieces and nephews, Ryan Epting, JJ Whitaker, Zoey Whitaker and Micah Whitaker.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edsel V. Whitaker Sr. and Mima Joy Whitaker; maternal grandparents, Donald Patterson and Dora Fronabarger; and two uncles, Jay Eric Whitaker and Peter L. Whitaker Sr.

Services will be private.
