MARY JO C. KINNE

SUMMERTON - Mary Jo Chapman Kinne, 86, widow of Robert Blaine Kinne, died on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Lake Marion Nursing Home.

Born on Aug. 19, 1931, in Newton, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Carroll Chapman and Josephine Weed Chapman. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Manning. She was a volunteer with AARP Tax Aide; a retired deputy comptroller with the Charleston Air Force Base; and was a registered nurse.

She is survived by two daughters, Fran Broadway (Charley) and Jo Spencer, both of Paxville; three grandchildren, Stacia Parker of Des Moines, Iowa, Ashley Ishler of Maryland and Frances Spencer of Sumter; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Paxville Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
