MANNING — Manning Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a man who walked into the Manning Walmart on Tuesday afternoon, grabbed a cash register drawer and fled the store in 10 minutes.

According to Capt. Sonia Daniels, the man entered the store through the garden center at 4:46 p.m. and purchased a bag of charcoal. Daniels said that according to the store’s surveillance video, the man did not go directly to his vehicle but remained in the store’s patio area talking on his cellphone.
