Main Street Manning will showcase Clarendon County vendors who "have anything to do with hosting a special event," Main Street Manning Director Carrie Trebil said on Thursday.

Trebil said Main Street Manning will invite those vendors for its annual event from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Drayton House, 304 S. Brooks St.

"Whether it's a wedding, birthday party or prom, any of those types of events will be invited to set up on the grounds of the Drayton House," Trebil said. "And everybody is invited to come out and see those different vendors because we feel that Clarendon County is a place where you can get all your needs for special events taken care of."

Trebil said Main Street Manning hosts an event the third Tuesday of each September.

"It's always kind of taken a little different turn to whatever we want to highlight that particular year, and this year we want to highlight special event vendors," Trebil said. "Last year it was 'Bands and Barbecue on Brooks Street.'"

She said they have had events celebrating the women of Main Street and a book signing for Silvia Clark's book "If These Walls Could Talk."

Food and beverages will be served, and the awards for Best of Main Street will be announced. The event is free to Clarendon County visitors and guests. Trebil said at this point they are only accepting vendors from Clarendon County.

Trebil said the organization will also have its Trick or Treat on Main Street event from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31.

A location for the Trick or Treat has not been set, she said.
