Linda McBride Geter was born on April 25, 1962, in Mayesville, to Minnie Scott and James (Dora) Parrot. She was called to rest on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Linda graduated early at the age of 16 as a junior-senior in 1979 from Mount Pleasant High of Elliott. She worked at Vaughn Bassett Furniture as a sprayer for more than 18 years.
