In celebration of the 78th year of the Iris Festival, the country's longest-running continuous festival, Reflections presents slides taken by the late Hubert D. Osteen in 1948 and 1949 of Swan Lake-Iris Gardens and the festival parade. The festival will be held beginning Thursday at Swan Lake-Iris Gardens and will attract people from across the state and from other states and countries. To see more slides taken during the festival in the 1940s, see Wednesday's edition of Panorama.
