ALCOLU - Kelsey Hughes and Joey Brunson, both of Manning, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Clarendon Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Mark Hughes of Manning and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Herman Feagin and Mr. and Mrs. William Franklin Hughes, all of Sumter. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor in Education and is pursuing a master's degree at Walden University. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Walker-Gamble Elementary School.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Louis Brunson Jr. of Manning and the grandson of Ms. Helen King Brooks of Sumter. He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business at the University of South Carolina Aiken. He is employed by Pine and Poll Timber Co.

The Rev. Jack Coker officiated.

Music was provided by LeAnne Amick, soloist; and Scott Warren, pianist.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin gown and a lace veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses, white hydrangea and greenery.

Mrs. Emma Wynn Brown served as matron of honor. Kaylee Feagin, Savannah Feagin, Lauren Brown, Tiffani Kruger, Jordan Man, Katilyn Hughes and Taylor Porter served as bridesmaids. Emery Lee Floyd served as flower girl.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Ethan Hughes, Chase Corbett, Thomas Briggs, Bill Wheeler, Matt Mays, Hunter Brunson and Shane Green. Eli Boone Hughes served as ring bearer.Also participating were Sligh Commander, Mary Daniel Stokes and JJ Tidwell, program attendants.

The bride's parents held the reception at Tanglewood Plantation, Lynchburg.

The bridegroom's family held the rehearsal party at Charleston's Place, Manning.

Following a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will reside in Manning.
