FRANKIE FRYE

Daniel F. "Frankie" Frye Jr., 51, husband of Melissa "Baye" Welch Frye, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born on Dec. 14, 1966, in Sumter, he was a son of Dessie R. Frye and the late Daniel F. Frye Sr. He was a member of Christian Tabernacle P.H. Church and was employed by Sumter Machinery for 33 years.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years; three children, Taylor Frye (Cassidy), Morgan Frye and Trent Frye, all of Sumter; a granddaughter, Adeline Frye; a brother, Eric Frye (Amber) of Sumter; a sister, Wendy Holladay (Paul) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tony B. Porter officiating. Burial will be at Christian Tabernacle P.H. Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 3611 Susan St.
