LAKE CITY - Talayshia Cooper scored 20 points to lead East Clarendon High School's varsity girls basketball team to a 40-24 victory over Lake City on Tuesday at the LCHS gymnasium.

Rhamey Floyd added eight points for the Lady Wolverines, who improved to 2-1 on the season.

SUMMERTON - Clarendon Hall lost to Andrew Jackson Academy 41-31 on Tuesday at the CH gymnasium.

Whitney Avins led the Lady Saints with nine points. Hannah Johndrow and Sarah Henning had seven points apiece, and McKenzie Bagnal grabbed nine rebounds while scoring two points.

MANNING - Laurence Manning Academy remained undefeated with a 52-35 win over Carolina Academy on Monday at Bubba Davis Gymnasium.

Brenna Boykin led the 4-0 Lady Swampcats with 16 points. Katherine Burns added 11.

Mary Lenior Hoge led TSA with seven points and six rebounds. Libby Gore, Logan Scruggs and Savanna Price each score four points.

MANNING - Laurence Manning Academy dropped to 2-2 with a 26-23 loss to First Baptist on Tuesday at Bubba Davis Gymnasium.

Madison Truett and Paisley Anderson both scored six points to lead LMA. Callie Thompson added five.

LEXINGTON - Wilson Hall improved to 3-1 with a 43-12 triumph over Northside Christian Academy on Tuesday at the NCA gymnasium.
