CHARLETTE HERRING

Katherine Charlette Herring, 49, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

Born on May 11, 1958, in Sumter, she was a daughter of Charlie Edgar and Katherine Virginia Boyce Herring.

Survivors include her parents of Sumter; one son, Jamison B. Schwartz of Sumter; two sisters, Donna Lynne Dunaway (Bobby) of White House, Tennessee, and Kimberley A. Kinlaw of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be at Sumter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Glen Ogle, James Strickland and deacons of Sumter Baptist Temple.

Honorary pallbearers will be current and former deacons of Sumter Baptist Temple.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her parents.
