CHARLES D. HOLLAND
Charles D. Holland, age 53, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at his residence in Sumter.
Born in Sumter, he was the son of the late John H. Holland and Mildred Lambert Holland. Charles was a kind-hearted man and loved meeting new people. He was an avid fisherman who loved the lake and loved playing golf. He will be remembered as a very loving father, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are a son, Matthew Charles Holland of Bishopville; a daughter, Kaitlin Ann-Marie Holland; two brothers, John Holland Jr. and Sandy Holland; one sister, Debbie Russell, all of Sumter; and his special dog, Savannah Nicole.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Peggy Card, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 4 to 5 p.m. at Bullock Funeral Home.
