Children test positive for methamphetamines, amphetamines

Megan N. Watford, 28, of 300 Pearson Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person after she and her two children, ages 2 and 7, tested positive for methamphetamines and amphetamines on Nov. 28, 2016.

Jacqueline R. Prioleau, 57, of 3032 Prosser Drive, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature for allegedly assaulting a man with a razor blade, causing two cuts to the victim's forearm, while in the 3100 block of Clarkson Road, Dalzell, on April 15. The victim was treated at Palmetto Health Tuomey for his injuries, states a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office.

Matthew W. Bagley, 22, of 3140 Longleaf Drive, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with one count of financial transaction card theft and three counts of financial transaction card fraud for allegedly using a financial transaction card belonging to a victim without permission, totaling less than $500, on three occasions between Feb. 14 and Feb. 16.

Rick F. Vanburen, 36, of 365 Rolling Creek Drive, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with receiving stolen goods for allegedly possessing a yellow-and-black Cub Cadet zero-turn lawnmower and an 8-by-10 utility trailer belonging to the victim that same day.

STOLEN PROPERTY

A black 44-inch Sharp flat-screen TV valued at $400; a black Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console with one controller valued at $150; a black Xbox One gaming system with two controllers valued at $350; three Xbox One video games valued at $150; an Xbox 360 video game valued at $20; a black Xbox One controller charger valued at $60; a black Kindle Fire tablet valued at $60; and a silver LG tablet valued at $100 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Berry Street between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

A black 42-inch LG flat-screen TV valued at $700; a black 42-inch Sanyo flat-screen TV valued at $800; two 32-inch Seiki flat-screen TVs valued at $220 each; a black HP Pavilion laptop valued at $520; a Microsoft Xbox One gaming console valued at $400; and four Xbox One video games valued at $200 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of Equinox Avenue, Dalzell, on Wednesday.

A blue 2000 Ford Explorer valued at $1,200 was reportedly stolen while parked at a residence in the 500 block of Country Springs Drive on Friday.
