Delvon W. Harvin, 21, of 4380 Rosewood Drive was arrested on Thursday and charged with second-degree burglary for allegedly entering a residence in the 1900 block of Mason Road without consent and taking a 65-inch LG flat-screen TV and a Sony PlayStation 4, all valued at about $2,200, on Oct. 2.
Robert L. Carder, 50, of 2561 Longleaf Drive, was arrested on Friday and charged with financial transaction card theft for allegedly taking a debit card belonging to the victim without consent on June 22.
Daisy Figueroa, 56, of 940 Parsons Lane, was arrested on Saturday and charged with obtaining property under false pretenses after she allegedly paid for items using a counterfeit $100 bill while at a business in the 1200 block of Pocalla Road on Thursday.
Jerry Wilson Jr., 20, of 322 Council St., was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly fled from officers during an attempted traffic stop after he failed to use a turn signal while turning onto Guignard Drive about 2:30 p.m. that day. Wilson is charged with failure to use turn signal within 100 feet; failure to stop for blue lights; reckless driving; driving under suspension, first offense; and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. An incident report from Sumter Police Department states that Wilson was also arrested for willful destruction of evidence after he attempted to discard 52 grams of marijuana while fleeing on foot and had an outstanding warrant for attempted murder. Approximately 12 more grams of marijuana were found inside the vehicle Wilson was driving, and $955 in cash was seized from the vehicle and Wilson's person.
Arthur R. Goodman, 28, of Maple Street, was arrested on Friday and charged with third-degree assault and battery for allegedly hitting the victim in the head with a broom handle while in the 200 block of Maple Street about 7:40 a.m. that day.
A blue 2004 Yamaha Warrior recreational vehicle valued at $2,000 was reportedly stolen while it was parked at a residence in the 4900 block of East Brewington Road, Gable, between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.
A silver 9mm SCCY CPX-1 firearm valued at $300 was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of London Road between 8 and 9 a.m. on Friday.
A black 6-by-12-foot Carry-On utility trailer valued at $1,700 was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 2600 block of Maidenhair Lane about 1 p.m. on Saturday.
A red 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix valued at $2,100 was reportedly stolen from an auto garage in the 1000 block of North Main Street between Oct. 21 and Saturday.
