2 men arrested after police find Psilocybin mushroom during traffic stops

CHARGES

David D. Frazier, 20, of 1358 John Holladay Drive, Summerton, was arrested on Friday and charged with petit larceny for allegedly taking a utility trailer valued at $1,000 from a residence in the 700 block of Sadie Lane in Sumter on Sept. 28.

Patrick A. Sandifer, 18, of 4835 Significant Drive, was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with possession of narcotics after 4 grams of suspected Psilocybin mushroom and other narcotics were found in the vehicle he was driving during a traffic stop on Alvin Road on Saturday. According to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, Sandifer is also charged with breaking into a motor vehicle for allegedly breaking into a 2004 Ford Explorer and taking a Remington 1100 shotgun valued at about $500 with a co-defendant.

Brandon Flowers, 17, of 3255 Starks Ferry Road, was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with possession of narcotics and breaking into a motor vehicle after 4 grams of suspected Psilocybin mushroom and other narcotics were found in a reportedly stolen vehicle during a traffic stop on Alvin Road on Oct. 7. According to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, Flowers was the passenger in the vehicle, a 2004 Ford Explorer containing a Remington 1100 shotgun.

Raquan S. Woods, 20, of 4860 Ribbon Road, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a victim between the ages of 11 and 14 at a residence in the 880 block of Falcon Drive on May 22.

STOLEN PROPERTY

A 55-inch curved-screen LG TV valued at $500; a 55-inch curved-screen Samsung TV valued at $750; an Xbox One valued at $200; a PlayStation 4 valued at $175; two 15-inch Sundown ZV4 speakers valued at $550; two Sundown amplifiers valued at $400; a Dell laptop valued at $200; an HP Pavillion laptop valued at $500; and an Apple iPad Air valued at $600 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Corn Road about 2:50 a.m. on Monday.

A black .40-caliber Glock 22 valued at $500; a black Motorola Zoom tablet valued at $200; a black pistol holder valued at $1; and a blue tablet case valued at $1 were reportedly stolen from a 1998 Ford F-150 while it was parked in the 2200 block of Shallowford Road between 11 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.

A silver HP computer valued at $2,500; a silver Apple MacBook valued at $800; a gray Asus computer valued at $800; a camouflage Apple iPad valued at $400; a black computer bag, unknown brand, with multiple zippers valued at $60; a pair of camouflage snake boots, unknown brand, valued at $200; and multiple bottles of pills valued at $100 were reportedly stolen from a 2005 GMC Sierra while it was parked in the 1300 block of Shoreland Drive between 11:15 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Approximately $2,000 in cigarettes were reportedly stolen from a convenience store in the 2500 block of U.S. 15 South between 1 and 2 a.m. on Sunday.
