Woman arrested for allegedly cutting victim

Jeanette Simmons, 56, of Frazier Street, was arrested on Sunday and charged with second-degree domestic violence for allegedly cutting the victim on the chest with a knife during an altercation in the 50 block of Frazier Street about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

STOLEN PROPERTY

A black .380-caliber semi-automatic Ruger firearm valued at $200 was reportedly stolen from a 2008 Nissan Sentra while it was parked in the 2500 block of McCrays Mill Road between 5:15 and 7 p.m. on Aug. 5.

A .308-caliber Savage firearm valued at $800; a Remington Super Magnum firearm valued at $350; a Norinco SKS firearm valued at $450; a Matthews hunting bow valued at $700; and 400 rounds of ammunition, unspecified caliber, valued at $690 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 8700 block of Black River Road between 7 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

A black-and-brown .22-caliber Sentinel Deluxe firearm valued at $500 was reportedly stolen from a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado while parked at a residence in the 500 block of Pittman Drive about 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

A white Hooper trailer with white rims valued at $1,800 was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 3300 block of North Main Street between 7 p.m. on Friday and 6:40 p.m. on Sunday.

A blue 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee valued at $15,000 was reportedly stolen while parked in the 1200 block of Raccoon Road between 11 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

A 40-inch Insignia flat-screen TV valued at $300; a 60-inch Hisense flat-screen TV valued at $450; and a 32-inch Vizio flat-screen TV valued at $300 were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 2700 block of Cains Mill Road between 2 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. on Sunday.
