Sumter High School fall baseball camp Saturday

The Sumter High School Baseball Fall Camp will be held on Saturday at Gamecock Field beginning at 9 a.m.

The camp, which is open to children ages 7-14, will have registration beginning at 8 a.m. The camp will run for three hours. The registration fee is $20.

The camp will be led by Sumter’s coaching staff of head coach Brooks Shumake and assistants Joe Norris, Randy Twitty, Matt Price, Chad Hoshour, Curtis Johnson, Mike Moss, Dean Pack and Robbie Mooneyham.

COMPETITION SATURDAY

St. Mark Four Bridges Missionary Baptist Church will be sponsoring a Punt, Pass & Kick competition on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m.

There will be five age groups — 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15 — in separate boys and girls divisions. Age group winners will have the opportunity to advance to other competitions.

The event is free. St. Mark Four Bridges is located at 2280 Four Bridges Road in Sumter.
