Marijuana, handguns and cash seized in arrest

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of Sumter Police Department, United States Marshall Service and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, conducted an operation in Sumter County on Wednesday resulting in the arrest of Telvin Williams at 320 B Picardy Drive, Windsor City Mobile Home Park.

Officers seized approximately 45 grams of marijuana, two handguns and $1,921 during the arrest.

Williams is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of firearm with obliterated serial number and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. The suspect also has a general sessions bench warrant.
