Man fatally shot in Sumter County

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office investigators are processing the scene of a fatal shooting that happened about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 4000 block of Briar Branch Road in Sumter County.
Witnesses said two men were arguing when it escalated and one man pulled out a gun and fatally shot the other one.
