Senior Day celebrates South Carolina Seniors on May 1 at S.C. Fairgrounds

The South Carolina Department on Aging (SCDOA) will host Senior Day at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in the Goodman Building from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, to celebrate Older Americans Month.

This year’s theme, Powered by Connection, offers an opportunity to explore a wide range of aging experiences and to promote the importance of enjoying independence and fulfillment by paving our paths as we age, according to a news release from SCDOA.

Senior Day will consist of 1,000 seniors, along with exhibitors with information on aging, entertainment, and free, optional health screenings.
